Nardo, Elaine M. (Sharkey) of Hull died peacefully surrounded by her family on January 1, 2014, she was 75.

The beloved wife of the late Albert J. Nardo. Devoted mother of Charles A. Nardo and his wife Lauren of Weymouth, Dennis A. Nardo of Hull and Suzanne Pumphrey and her husband John of Rockland. Sister of Gerald Sharkey of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of Joseph, Erin and Ryan Nardo, Katlyn and Nicholas Nardo and Anastasia, Luciana and John Pumphrey, Jr. Elaine is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A lifelong Hull resident, who loved living by the beach. An avid reader, she enjoyed gardening and following the Celtics and Patriots. Elaine had a very special place in her heart for her beloved pets. She was the owner and operator of Elaine’s Restaurant and the Atlantic Inn in Hull for many years. The foundation of her life was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished each of her children. They feel blessed for all the wonderful memories they shared together. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street. HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday at 9:15am prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church Monday at 10am. Burial will be private.
