William S. Perch

Perch, William S. of Weymouth, died April 18, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born, raised, and educated on the south shore and in 1951 settled down to raise a family in Quincy. Although he was an entrepreneur his whole life he retired from the Department of Defense where he worked as a quality control manager. Bill retired to Weymouth and enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with his family, most of all his wife of over 60 years Glennie.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Glennie (Campbell). Loving father to Allison Jankins and her husband Christopher Sr. of Weymouth, William S. Perch Jr. and his wife Karen of Lexington KY, Robert Perch of Quincy, and Susan Perch of Quincy. Papa to William S. III, Dawn Connelly, Jason Perch, Amanda Perch, Christopher Jankins Jr., and Jessica Jankins. Bill is also survived by his loving sister Pearl Quartarone of Saugus and by 3 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at 9:30 AM in Fort Square Presbyterian Church, Quincy. Burial will immediately follow in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
