Zukowski, Lorraine M. “Rainy” (DeViller) of Weymouth, died August 13, 2014 after a long illness.

Rainy was born, raised, and educated in Boston. She raised her family in Dorchester with her husband of 35 years, Charles. She also lived in Quincy for about 10 years and most recently resided in Weymouth. Rainy was a strong, independent women and mother who will be remembered for her love for bingo, everyday tea, and gambling; especially slots. Rainy was a member of the Moose Club in Braintree and loved her time there.

Rainy was predeceased by her loving husband Charles Zukowski. Cherished mother to James M. Lauper of Boston, the late Joanne Lauper, Joseph E. Lauper of Quincy, Michael P. Lauper of Boston, Richard Lauper of Bridgewater, and Lynn L. Lauper of Scituate. Devoted sister to Ruth, the late June, Joanne, and the Late Joseph. Cherished grandmother to Sean, Eric, Amy, Jennifer, Joe, Tristan and Cameron Lauper and Lauren and Brendan Shea.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston will immediately follow.
