Leahy, Eleanor C. (Henshon) of Norwell, formerly a resident at Duxbury Village, previously a longtime Hingham resident died August 14, 2014, she was 102. 

The beloved wife of the late David D. Leahy, Esq. Mother of David D. Leahy, Jr. of Marshfield, Martha Morrill of Richmond, VA, Lawrence P. Leahy of Amesbury, John P. Leahy of Boston and Mark A. Leahy, Esq. of Hanover.  Aunt of  Carol Niekracz of Bonita CA, Leonard Surett of Santa Ynes, CA, Thomas Henshon of Wiburham and David Henshon of Brighton. Eleanor is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

An avid reader, Eleanor also enjoyed playing Bridge. She attended Boston University and was a member of the Hingham Garden Club. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday morning August 22 from 8:30 – 9:30am in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main Street, Hingham, Friday 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
