Bruno J. Scribi

Scribi, Bruno J. of Quincy, died September 1, 2014. 

Bruno was a WWII Army Veteran who served in Normandy, France.  He worked for Mass Engineering Company for 37 years before inheriting the family oil business, Scribi Oil Service.  Bruno was a member of Cyril P. Morrisette American Legion Post # 294 for over 60 years and the South Quincy Bocce Club.  He enjoyed hunting, playing cribbage, bowling, boating and watching his local sports teams.  Bruno’s main passion was spending time together with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kind and loving personality.  

Beloved husband of 67 years to Nancy (DiBiase) Scribi of Quincy. Devoted father of Vincent Scribi and his wife Kathleen of Duxbury, Dorothy Mucci and her late husband Richard of Whitman and Michael Scribi and his wife Dayna of Hanover. Son of the late Romeo and Dora (Rigo) Scribi.   Caring brother of the late Vincent R. Scribi. Loving Grampy of Lisa Frisoli and her husband Christopher, Andrea McCarthy and her husband Ryan, Jillian Scribi, Lauren Scribi, Marc Scribi and Scott Scribi.  Great Grampy of Rose Frisoli, Celia Frisoli and Faye McCarthy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
