Claire A. Muollo

Muollo, Claire A. (Zampine) of Quincy, died peacefully on April 22.

A Braintree native, Claire was a 1965 graduate of Braintree High School.  She was an Administrative Assistant for many years at Eaton Vance and former Executive Assistant to Attorney Jim Sokolove. Claire also founded Promises for Purple in 2010, which to date has raised over $90,000 for pancreatic cancer research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Muollo, Sr. Loving mother of Robert A. Muollo, Jr. of Milton and LCpl David A. Muollo, USMC, of Quincy. Sister of Judith A. Christensen of Weymouth, Cynthia T. Toffoloni of Duxbury and the late John A. Zampine, Jr and Ronald E. Zampine, Sr. Also survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Zampine of Randolph and many nieces and nephews. Claire was a former member of the Braintree Grange and was known for her enduring faith, sense of humor and positive attitude. Claire enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loved ones.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  A Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Cremation will follow.
