Coe, Diane S. (Hajjar) of Weymouth, died October 20, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Diane worked for twenty years as a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company, and then went on for ten years to work at Harvard Pilgrim in Quincy. She was a member of the Pioneers with the telephone company. She always enjoyed cooking, going to foxwoods, an avid fan of all Boston sports teams, but most especially a devout catholic and she was a daily communicant at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Loving daughter of the late Peter and Susan (Ackel) Hajjar of Lebanon. Beloved wife of the late Arthur B. Coe, Jr. Loving mother of Arthur B. Coe, III and his husband, Kenneth Smith, of Boston, Elizabeth M. Coe of Weymouth, Peter D. Coe and his wife, Jo-Ann, of Abington, and Jennifer A. Coe and her partner, John Dennison, of Weymouth. Sister of the late Evelyn Yazbek, Thomas Hajjar, Josephine Yazbek, William Hajjar, and Mildred Harris. Loving Sito to her cherished Grandchildren, Zachary, Emma Jane, and Maeve Caroline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diane’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
