Mahoney, Edward V. age 91 of Wollaston, died November 20, 2014. 

Beloved husband of the late Rita (Hogan) Mahoney who shared 67 years of marriage together. Loving father of Kathleen Taylor and her husband David of Hudson, NH, Edward V. Mahoney, Jr.  and his wife Nancy of Rockland and the late Karen Tringale. Cherished brother of Paul Mahoney of Braintree and the late Marion Broadbent. Father in law of Guy Tringale of Quincy. He was the loving grandfather to Laurie Mahoney, Kevin Taylor, Adam, Alex and Ashley Tringale and Edward and Christopher Mahoney. Cherished great grandfather of Kaitlyn, Timothy, Tyler, Paige and Neve. 

Ed was retired from the Boston Globe and proudly served in the United States Army Air Force. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 10-11:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 12 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
