Edward J. Holland

Holland, Edward J. of Quincy, died November 18, 2014.

Ed was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and went on to work as an Air Force ROTC instructor at North Quincy High School and Quincy High School for over 20 years. He loved to read and volunteer for the community. His biggest passions were his family and teaching, they were both very important to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Cripps) Holland. Beloved husband of Margareta (Drosse) Holland of Quincy.  Cherished father of Ron Holland and his wife Lisle of Illinois, the late Ralph Holland, and Michelle Muth and her husband Volker of Avon. Devoted grandfather of Dillan, Shannon, Madeleine, and Benjamin. Loving brother of Timothy Holland of Wrentham, Elizabeth Potter of Avon, Julia Fasano of Avon, Margaret Medley of Florida, Donald Holland of Connecticut, and the late Dorothy Young, Joseph Holland, Patricia Leonard, and John Holland. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at  10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ed may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
