Gentile, Eleanor (Rizzo) of Scituate,  formerly of Hingham, died July 23, 2014. 

Beloved wife of the late Dominic Gentile.  Loving mother of  Linda  Johnson and her husband Robert of Scituate and Deborah Carella and her husband David of Hanover.  Sister of the late Mary Zielinski, Flora Saltzman and Lorraine Sugzda.  Cherished grandmother of   Robert Johnson Jr., Nicholas Johnson and Victoria Johnson all of Scituate and Charles Carella of Dorchester.  Eleanor is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was born, raised and educated in Boston.  She lived in Hingham for many years before moving to Scituate  where she lived for the past eight years.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband Dominic, watching TV and movies and collecting recipes for family and friends.  Most of all Eleanor loved her family who were the cornerstone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 9:00-10:30 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
