Goldie, Frances Lahage of Hull, died November 24, 2014. 

Frances graduated from Tufts with a B.S. in biology. A firm believer in education, Fran served in the Hull PTA and worked as a substitute teacher. She was a member of the South Shore Country Club in Hingham where she loved to golf and bowl with friends. Fran enjoyed working in her garden, knitting, tolerating her family’s fishing vacations with good humor, traveling, cooking for her family, and spending time with those she loved.  Her support and love will be missed by all.

Beloved wife of the late John Goldie. Loving mother of John Goldie and his wife Joyce Wilson of Scituate, Ann Larsen and her husband Don of California, Peter Goldie and his wife Kathleen of Quincy, Jane Johnson and her husband Steven of Abington and the late Malcolm Goldie. Devoted grandmother of Kaelen, Danielle, Andrew and Samantha.  Great grandmother of Noor Ines. Caring sister of Evelyn Lahage of Hull.  Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 3-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
