Dacey, Gerard R. of Weymouth, died November 17, 2014.

Jerry grew up in Milton and has lived in Weymouth for over 20 years. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He has thrived in the furniture industry for over 40 years, owning and operating Furniture Marketing in Boston for 20 years. Jerry was a skilled golfer. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, great sense of humor and vivid story telling. 

Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Eleanor T. “Ellie” (Sweeney) Dacey. Devoted father of Theresa M. Dacey-Manzelli and her husband Anthony of Weymouth, Maureen E. Dacey-McKenney of Marshfield, Nancy J. Dacey of Weymouth and Lee A. Dacey of Abington. Cherished “Grampy” of Hannah Rose, Haley Marie, Nolan Henry, Sabrina C., Thomas L. and Sarah Grace. Loving brother of Marion Hardy of Concord, Dorothy Bosworth of Milton and pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
