Helen A. Saniuk

Saniuk, Helen A. (Kutzko), 92, of Quincy, a retired Registered Nurse, died November 24, 2014 at Milton Hospital.

Born in Amesbury, she spent the majority of her life in Dorchester with her late husband, Michael S. Saniuk. She was currently a resident of Quincy. 

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie Kutzko and sister of the late Walter Kutzko and the late Jane Kutzko Szala. She was a supervising nurse who trained numerous classes of RNs in support of World War II. In her later years, she was active in supporting local fundraising organizations by knitting and crocheting blankets, sweaters, gloves, and hats. 

She is survived by a daughter Jane Saniuk Vitello and Paul of Houston, TX., and sons, Michael P. Saniuk and Mary of Hanover and Jack Saniuk and Diane of Hull, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society, 261 Pleasant Street, Weymouth, MA 02190.
