Roman, Joanna P. (Gerrin) of Quincy, died August 29, 2014.

Joanna was born in Philadelphia, PA.  She lived in Malden for many years  before settling in Quincy.  Joanna enjoyed gardening and crafts.  In her earlier years Joanna volunteered for meals on wheels and loved line dancing.  she was a member of the Elderly Dance Club of Houghs Neck and president of the Manet Elders Club. Most of all Joanna loved her family who were the cornerstone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Beloved wife of John F. Roman of Quincy.  Loving mother of John F. Roman Jr. and his wife Selma of Somerset and Johanna P. Roman of Malden.  Sister of Dolores Hickey of Winthrop.  Cherished grandmother of Johanna, John, Justin, Natasha, Daniela and Bojana.  Joanna was also loving survived by her great grandchildren Madeline, Zoey, Owen, Cora and Lilith.  She was also the aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10am. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
