John C. Pardo

Pardo, John C. of Weymouth, died April 13, 2014.

John was a lifelong resident of South Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School. John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Tony’s Spa in Weymouth until 1985, a family owned business for 50 years. Upon retirement John went on to work for Russelectric and both the Tufts and Fogg Libraries. He was a member of the VFW in Whitman, Rockland Eagles and South Weymouth Knights of Columbus. John was an avid Boston Red Sox and Celtics Fan. He will be sadly missed. 

Beloved husband of 56 years to Maureen (McPhail) Pardo of Weymouth. Devoted father of John M. Pardo and his wife Janice of Groveland, Debra Rizzo and her husband Louis of Weymouth, Chris Pardo and his wife Cynthia of Norton, Glenn Pardo and his wife Maryann of Hanover, Gina Manzo and her husband Peter of Marshfield and Kathryn Corbett and her husband Alex of Burbank, CA. Cherished “Grampie” of 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild. Loving brother of Alfred Pardo of Humarock, Rose Marie Pardo of South Weymouth and the late Vito Pardo. “Uncle John” to many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  A Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the South Shore Educational Collaborative Community School, 75 Abington Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
