Pelton, John T. of Quincy, died April 19, 2014 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Beloved son of Thomas Pelton and Maureen (Clasby) Pelton of Quincy. Loving brother of   Michael, Kristine, and  Erin Pelton all of Quincy. Cherished grandson of Thomas Clasby Sr. of Quincy and the late Jane Clasby,  and Robert and Ethel Pelton.  John was also lovingly survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. 

John was born, raised, and educated in Quincy.  He was a graduate of North Quincy High School class of 2010.  John was a huge Boston sports fan, and enjoyed playing basketball and bass guitar.  He had a love for animals and treasured the simple things in life.  Most importantly, John loved his family who were the cornerstone of his life.  He will be missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure to have known him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
