Sullivan, Kathleen E. (Murphy) of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died April 17, 2014.

Until her retirement she worked as a legal secretary for for various law firms in Boston. She was a graduate of Boston Teacher’s College, Class of 1937 and was a former teacher at Boston Business School. Kathleen was a former choir member at Saint Gregory’s Church in Dorchester, and also at Saint Jerome’s Church in Weymouth where she was also a member of the prayer group. She attended the Whipple Center in Weymouth and enjoyed the walking and sewing clubs. She was also a avid reader. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beloved wife of the late Patrick J. “Packie” Sullivan. Loving mother of Mary Sullivan Weymouth, Ellen Sullivan of Norwell, Gerald Sullivan and his wife, Deborah, of Mansfield, and the late Mary Ellen Sullivan. Sister of the late Eleanor Anderson. Grandmother of Kelly Sullivan of Nottingham, England.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
