Luca F. Morano, Jr.

Morano, Luca F., Jr. of Hull, died December 6, 2013.

Luca’s life revolved around his family, career and service to his country.  A true family man he provided for his family and taught them the value of hard work.  He loved to fish, tend his garden, and playing softball, right up to the age of 82.  He was passionate about baseball and his beloved Red Sox.  He served his country twice, first during WWII in the Army as part of the “Greatest Generation” and secondly with the Air Force during the Korean conflict.  Never one to shy away from hard work, he always worked multiple jobs to provide for his family.  He worked at the Quincy Shipyard, was a handyman, and was a firefighter for the Boston Fire Department, retiring as a Lieutenant after 30 years.  He will be remembered for his intelligence, his ability to fix anything, his kindness, and for the wonderful advice he provided.

Morano of Hull, Deborah Conti and her husband Macdonald of Stoughton, Julie Morano and her husband Christopher Gill of Hull, Stephen L.
