Keohane Funeral Home

Dwyer, Marie (Bruno) of Dorchester, died after a brief illness, July 25, 2014. 

Marie figured out long ago that it is not the material things we gather that are important, but rather the people we affect in our every day lives.  She was a pleasant lady, with an infectious smile that could carry a conversation with anyone.  She held a special place in her heart for people that lived with a disability and tried to help whenever she could.  She will be remembered for her sense of decorating style, her strong will, longevity and independence. 

Beloved wife of the late John Bruno.  Loving mother of John, Jr. and his wife Laurieann, Robert, William & Thomas Bruno, Diane Purtell and her husband James, Elaine LeVine, and Christine Wojcik and her husband Richard.  Sister of the late Joseph.  Also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 11:30 AM-12:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral service will follow at 12 PM. 

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
