Canty, Mark of Norwell, formerly of Braintree, died at home July 25, 2014 peacefully with his family by his side. 

Mark was a very hands on man, he could fix anything. Mark will always be remembered as a loving, devoted, and caring husband, father, son, and brother to all he knew.

Beloved husband of 15 years to Christine M. Canty of Norwell. Devoted father to Nicholas C. Canty of Norwell. Loving son of Patricia Parkhurst and her late husband Peter Parkhurst of Carver and Richard Canty and his wife Janice of Braintree. Dear brother to his 3 sisters, Kimberly Canty of Braintree, Donna White and her husband Paul of Westwood, and Christine Holland and her husband Frank of Norwell. Devoted uncle to Jeffrey, Matthew, and Lauren White, Cortney and Carissa Colclough, and Julianne, Michael, and Meghan Holland. Also survived by many other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 2-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
