Fountaine, Mary E. (Skerry) of Quincy, died July 18, 2014. The beloved wife of the late Robert J. Fountaine. Loving mother of Lynne and Christopher Fountaine both of Quincy and the late Janice Charbonnier.  Cherished sister of  Rev. Donald Skerry, SVD of Duxbury, Joseph Skerry of Burlington, William Skerry of Florida, George Skerry of Maryland and the late Rev. James Skerry, SVD.  The devoted Gram of Megan and Sara Charbonnier.

Mary worked as an office manager at Orthopedic Surgery of South Shore for many years. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. The foundation of her life was her family, she cherished them all, especially her grandchildren. They were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to her. Mary will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
