Mary H. (Hailstone) Lurvey, lifelong resident of North Weymouth, died September 14, 2014.

In her early years, Mary worked for Sears and Roebuck in customer service. She later worked for the Weymouth School Department in payroll for many years. Mary was a foster parent for Boston Children’s Services. She owned a home in York Beach, Maine where many wonderful memories with family were made. She was a loving and artistic woman who could often be found painting and decorating. She will be sadly missed. 

Beloved wife of the late Frank H. Lurvey, Jr. Devoted mother of Mary “Karen” Davidson and her late husband Harold of NH, Susan Lynne Lurvey of Rockland and the late Frank H. Lurvey. Cherished “Nannie” of Kristin Caviasca and her husband Nicholas, Robert Davidson and his wife Sarah and Andrew Davidson and his companion Niki and great-grandchildren Nathan, Robbie, Sam, Ben, Frankie, Ariana and Lillian. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 12 PM Friday prior to the Funeral Service in Bethany Congregational Church,Quincy at 1 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
