Tobin, Mary M. of Hingham formerly of Dennis and Reading originally from Dorchester , died August 21, 2014, she was 98. The beloved daughter of the late Daniel Tobin and Anne (McCarthy) Tobin.  Cherished sister of Margaret A. Tobin of Hingham and the late Anna Buckley, Richard Tobin and Helen Smith. Loving Aunt of John, Lawrence, Richard and Kevin Buckley, Colleen Mackenzie, Sean and Noreen Smith. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. 

Mary was a scheduling co-ordinator for MBTA for more than 30 years. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. Mary always enjoyed being around people but the cornerstone of her life was her family. She was devoted to them. Mary took great pride in caring for her mother who lived to be 105. She will be sadly missed .  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend  the Funeral Mass in the Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main Street, Hingham on Saturday August 23 at 10 AM. Burial in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Allerton House Activities Fund, 15 Condito Road, Hingham, MA 02043.
