Walker, Sidonia R.” Sunny” (Couture)  in Temecula, CA , a longtime Quincy resident, Sunny was a resident at River Bay for 8 years, she died September 10, 2014 at age 95.

The beloved wife of the late John E. Walker. Loving mother of William J. Walker and his wife Paula of Marston Mills, Virginia “Ginny” Mapes and her husband Ken of Temecula, CA, Dorothy A. Walker of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and John E. Walker, Jr. of Boyton Beach, FL. Sister of Theresa LeClair of Lewsiton, ME and the late Jeanine Masse and Maurice Pelletier. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Former treasurer of St. Ann’s Seniors, past President of the Legion of Mary at St. Ann’s Church as well as troop organizer of Girl Scouts also at St. Ann’s Church. A devout catholic, her faith was a very important part of her life. Sunny enjoyed being around people and had a beautiful smile, but the foundation of her life was her family. They were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 2-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
