Pyne Keohane Sponsors 2015 Hull Harbor Illumination Festival July 25

July 16, 2015

Join us and the Hull Lifesaving Museum in the moving tradition of celebrating life and remembering loved ones during the Harbor Illumination Festival when hundreds of flares will illuminate the shoreline of Hull bay transforming it into a necklace of light.

Remember, celebrate and honor

hullharborDuring the Hull Lifesaving Museum Harbor Illumination Festival, held each summer along the shores of Hull bay, flares placed along the shoreline from the Spinnaker Island Bridge to the A Street pier will be lit at 8:30 PM in tribute to those who have gone before us. It is a truly beautiful and moving event from which many families have found great comfort.

Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, a sponsor of Harbor Illumination, will be remembering all of those we have cared for during the past year at this event. In addition, if you wish to personally honor any of your loved ones, you may purchase a flare at Hull Livesaving Museum or email [email protected] for more information. You can even volunteer to light the flares! Proceeds from the event benefit the Point Allerton Station Preservation Fund.

Music festival, boat parade and after party

Prior to the illumination, this year’s annual festival will include a pre-party with live music and food vendors at L-Street Field at 6 PM followed by a parade of boats at 8 PM. The Illumination takes place at 8:30 PM with an after-party at Sea Dog Brew Pub until midnight.

The Music Festival features three bands and several solo artists who will perform between 6 and 8 PM. There will also be food booths and games for kids, families and adults.

Following the music festival, the Boat Parade of Lights will take place in Hull bay with a prize for best-illuminated craft. The Illuminated Boat Parade, presented with the support of Pyne Keohane, will feature the Boston Fire Boat and Boston Pilot Boat along with 20 other illuminated vessels.

Thank you for the trust you have placed in us. We hope that this opportunity will serve as a way to honor your memories and your trust.  We look forward to seeing you on July 25.
