Adeline T. Miscioscia

Adeline T. Miscioscia (née DelTufo) of Quincy, formerly of Roxbury, passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2025, at the age of 94 surrounded by her loving family.

Known as “Lolly” to friends and family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Miscioscia. Devoted mother of Joseph A. Miscioscia and his wife Renee of Braintree, Steven Miscioscia of Quincy, and Maria Kawdji and her late husband Brian of Quincy.

Born to the late Antonio and Lucia (Mercuri) DelTufo, Adeline was predeceased by her cherished siblings: Marie Brauer, Ralph DelTufo, Concetta Scaramozza, Frank DelTufo, Anna Meucci, and Anthony DelTufo Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

From a young age, Adeline exemplified selflessness and dedication to family, leaving school early to care for her ailing mother and younger siblings—a role she embraced with grace and love. She carried that devotion into her own family life, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable meals.

Adeline worked for Touraine Stores and later as a Hubmail homeworker. It was in Boston's bustling garment district where she met the love of her life, Joe. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and friendship.

A proud homemaker and accomplished cook, Adeline had a green thumb and took great pride in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a spirited competitor in the Double GG bowling league, and enjoyed card games, bingo, board games, and soap operas. Her trips to Foxwoods were a favorite pastime.

Known for her warmth and vibrant personality, Adeline never met anyone she couldn’t strike up a conversation with. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed and valued. As the heart of many family gatherings, she was a gracious hostess who cooked and baked with love, always ensuring no one left hungry and everyone felt at home.

Adeline will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
