Alexander Munn, 82, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on May 6, 2026.
Born and raised with a strong work ethic and a kind heart, Alex spent his life dedicated to family, loyalty, and hard work. He began his career in retail as a teenager working at Woolworth in Quincy Center, where he met the love of his life, Barbara. They married in 1965 and built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering devotion to one another.
Alex spent decades in retail, ending his career with Bed Bath & Beyond just a few years ago. He was known for his kindness, his loyalty, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He was the kind of person who was always there when someone needed him.
He deeply loved his wife Barbara, his daughter Deborah, and their beloved dogs. He also found great joy in his model trains and was a proud member of the South Shore Model Railway Club, where he shared both friendship and his passion for the hobby he loved.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Munn, and his brother, Glen Munn of Quincy, Massachusetts.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Deb Munn, his niece and goddaughter, Sarah Poole of Manchester, CT, along with extended family, dear friends, and all those whose lives were better for having known him.
Cremation arrangements are being handled privately, and a memorial service will be held at Keohane Funeral Home, North Weymouth at 40 Sea St on Saturday May 23rd 2026 from 12- 2pm.
Alexander will be remembered for his steady kindness, quiet strength, humor, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be missed beyond words.
