Welch, Alexander T. “Buster” of Quincy, formerly of South Boston, August 12, 2003. Son of the late Patrick & Delia Welch. Beloved husband of Beverly (Logan) Welch. Loving father of Mary Welch of Quincy, Dennis Welch of Middleboro, Beverly & her husband Bill Loughnane of Quincy, Margaret & her husband Bob McPhail of Quincy, Kathleen Munson of Squantum and Maureen Welch of Quincy. Brother of Bridget Brown of South Boston, Margaret Rector of Quincy, Catherine Connolly of Randolph, Joseph Welch of Bonita Springs, FL, and the late Ann Keeley, Barbara Regan & James “Toupa” Welch. Grandfather of Kristin Harding, Tayler Welch, Meghan Munson, Alex Loughnane and Jack Loughnane. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9 PM AND Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Buster was a huge Red Sox fan. He loved South Boston and devoted his life to his family. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
