Angela Pauline (Stella) Hatch, of Weymouth, age 95, passed over on October 8, 2026.

Born in Boston, Angela was originally from East Boston, she lived for many years in Dorchester, before moving to Weymouth.

She was a 1948 graduate of Girls High School. Angela worked right out of high school for John Hancock Life Insurance for 54 years. Angela was also a 19 year volunteer for the Elderly Commission for the City of Boston.

Family was everything to Angela and she cherished all the times spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchild and big extended Italian family. Her favorite times were spent in Mia’s Kitchen or summers in Moonstone. In her spare time she could be found in the kitchen cooking her Italian dishes as well as shopping on QVC or in the mall. She loved fashion and accessorized every outfit with ‘matching earrings’.

She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Loving mother of Theresa Flaherty and her husband, David of Weymouth, and Dennis Hatch and his wife, Amy of Yarmouth Port.

Angela was the remaining sibling of her family and all members predeceased her. Sister of Charles Stella and his wife, Phyllis, darling sister Maryanne Salamone and her husband, Ben, sister of Paul Stella and his wife, Adrienne, and sister of Joseph Stella Jr.

Nonnie of DJ Hatch and his wife, Ally Kuriloff, Christian Hatch, and Michael Flaherty and his wife, Megan.

Great-Nonnie to Rowan.

Also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 10/13/2026 from 4-7 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, 10/14/2026 at Immaculate Conception Church, 1720 Broad Street, Weymouth at 11 AM.

Burial will be private at a later date.
