Angela M. (DeLuca) Corbo passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2026, at the age of 99.
Born to the late Vito and Philomena DeLuca, Angie was raised and educated in Weymouth. She attended Boston University for a year before continuing her studies at the Chandler School for Women, where she earned an Associates degree in secretarial and business training. She later married the late Joseph Corbo, and together they raised three children.
A devoted mother and fulltime homemaker, Angie created a warm and loving home for her family. As her children grew older, she worked part time assisting with bookkeeping in her husband’s business, Flair Carpets and General Flooring Inc of Stoughton, a role she continued for many years. She believed deeply in the equal capabilities of men and women and enthusiastically supported her daughters as they pursued their professional careers.
Angie continued to live a full and active life after Joe’s passing. For decades, the two spent their winters in Florida—a tradition she continued on her own.
Giving back to her community was central to who she was. Angie volunteered for more than 25 years at South Shore Hospital and also dedicated many years of service to Broward Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Angie loved people, and her family and friends remained at the heart of her life. Cooking was her favorite hobby, and she was especially known for her famous pizzas. She delighted in hosting “pizza parties” in both Weymouth and Florida and cherished visits from neighbors, friends, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Angie was the loving mother of Joseph Corbo, Jr. and his wife, Gina, of Mashpee; Jean Wood and her husband, James, of Boston; and Joanne Hogan and her husband, Michael, of Hingham. She was the adoring Nana of Erika Corbo and her partner, Heather Lemoine; Catherine Corbo; Laura Crow and her husband, P.J.; David Hogan and his wife, Alece; and Matthew Wood. She was the much loved Gigi of Caroline, Mackenzie, and Cecelia. Angie is also survived by her brother, V. Edward DeLuca of Falmouth, and will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and her devoted caregivers—Dottie, Joanne, Joanie, Karen, Arlene, and Susan—who provided exceptional, loving care the past several years.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4–7 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) in East Weymouth.
A short service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth.
Burial will take place at Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
