Anne Bradley, beloved wife, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. She was 87.
Born in Calla, County Galway, Ireland, to Bridget (Mannion) and John O’Malley. At 16, she moved to England, where she worked in a hospital and later in hotel hospitality. In 1960, she married Michael Bradley, and together they moved to the U.S. in 1963, settling in Dorchester. They bought their family home in 1970.
Anne worked for 20 years at Columbia Gym Meat Market, then transitioned to a hospitality service role at a Boston law firm. Anne was known to be fiercely independent, strong willed but with a kind disposition and great sense of humor.
She and Michael loved traveling across the U.S., Ireland, Canada, and the Bahamas. Above all, Anne cherished time spent with family.
Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Michael Bradley. Loving sister to Patricia McAvoy of CT, Teresa Mullane of Canton, Eileen Zion of Revere, and her late husband Frank. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bridget (Mannion) and John O’Malley, and her siblings: Pat O’Malley and his wife Kitty, Festy O’Malley and his wife Kath, Mary O’Malley, Finbar O’Malley, Stephen O’Malley, and Sean O’Malley.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral Mass will be held immediately following the visitation in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
