Anne Marie “Nancy” (Giacobbe) Yotts of Hingham formerly of South Boston, died suddenly on Dec. 25, 2018 with her family by her side. Together with her husband Daniel Yotts they had four children, Thomas Yotts and his wife Maureen of Quincy, Diane Perella and her husband Mario of Weymouth, Joseph Yotts and his wife Claire of Hingham and the late Daniel M. Yotts, Jr. Cherished Nana to Mike, Sam, Nora, Christopher, Nicholas, Abigael, Grace, Claire Diane and Ava. Sister of Margaret “Sissy” DiNanno and her husband Teddy of Lynnfield and her late twin sister Sarah Giacobbe, Thomas “Bobo” Giacobbe and Catherine “Katie” Quinlan. Nancy also leaves her nieces Peggy Federico, Suzie Lynch and Kathryn Barbieri and her nephews Joe and Tom DiNanno.
Nancy was the past President of South Boston Resident Group and was a dedicated Eucharistic Minister at St. Paul’s Church in Hingham. Her family was the foundation of everything that was important in her life, they came first always. Her friends gave her laughter and her church and her faith gave her peace. While her loss brings tears to our eyes, she would want us all to remember her and smile. We are grateful for all the blessings she brought into our lives.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-5 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nancy may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
