Rabbitt, Anne Marie of Quincy and Braintree, died March 24, 2026.

Anne, affectionately known as “Auntie Anne” to most, was born in Dorchester, MA and grew up in Quincy, MA and Braintree, MA. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth, MA in 1974 and from Labouré College in Dorchester in 1978 with her Nursing degree. She worked as a dedicated registered nurse for 47 years in hospitals, house of corrections, and nursing/rehabilitation center settings. When she wasn’t working, Anne enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing, singing, and brightening up any room she entered. She was a vibrant and caring woman who was like a second mother to many and devoted her life to taking care of others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved daughter of the late James J. Rabbitt and Jeanne M. Fleming (Rabbitt). Loving sister of Claire Errico and her husband James of Londonderry, NH and James F. Rabbitt and his wife Michelle of Woburn, MA. Cherished “Auntie Anne” of Nicholas Errico and his wife Nicole, Christina Errico and her husband James George, Shawn Rabbitt, Kevin Rabbitt, Jennifer Adler and her husband Alex, Bryan Strange, and Jennifer Strange. “Great Auntie Anne” of Calvin Adler and Arthur Errico.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 3/27/2026 from 4-7:30 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday 3/28/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anne may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 or to American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
