It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Annette (Netta) Marcotullio. She left this earth in the loving presence of her family on October 17, 2025, after a long, courageous battle with lung disease.
Born in East Boston to the parents of Carmela and Joseph Ciampa and a loving sister to Gerard and his wife Betsy. Netta married the love of her life, Romolo (Ray) Marcotullio, at the young age of 19. In 1976 they bought their first home in Quincy to raise their three daughters, Renee, Laura and Cheryl, and remained there for 49 wonderful years.
Netta was known for many things, her bountiful generosity, her undeniable luck with the lottery and her ability to make everyone feel valued and special. As a beloved hairdresser, her clients became like family. She was a safe place for many, lending everyone a compassionate ear until she retired at age 80.
Netta will be remembered for hosting the most elaborate and festive family gatherings where she was known for her famous cinnamon rolls and pizzelles. She had an open-door policy for anyone in need and cared for many people throughout her life.
Netta will be greatly missed by her husband Ray and three daughters, Renee Lazarz and her husband Joe, Laura Mazzulli and her husband Frank and Cheryl Sutherland and her husband Billy. She was a beloved Nana to her six grandchildren Gina, Alex and his wife Christine, Kyle, Olivia, Victoria and Billy who loved and adored her dearly.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 10/25/2025 from 9:00-10:00 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
