Annmarie (Cushing) Gorham of Scituate, formerly of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was 67 years old.

Born and raised in Hyde Park, Annmarie was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Shields) Cushing.Annmarie met her husband, Patrick, while both working at John Hancock in Boston. Their connection grew into a partnership filled with love and companionship. Together, they shared a life centered on their three daughters and the simple joys that made everyday moments meaningful. Annmarie embraced her role as a stay-at-home mother, and she was devoted to her daughters in every way. She took them to dance class, walked them to school, and was always present with love. Her daughters, Kelley, Erin and Courtney, were the center of her world, and she found great happiness in caring for them and watching them grow.

Annmarie had many interests and pleasures that reflected her bright personality. She loved to knit and enjoyed crafts, creating with her hands and taking pride in the things she made. She was known for her love plants and animals, especially cats. She enjoyed shopping and getting her hair and nails done, and she especially loved the chance to get dolled up when she was younger. She had a wonderful sense of humor that was both witty and silly, and she brought laughter to those around her with ease.

Some of Annmarie’s happiest memories were made by the sea. She loved the beach and treasured summers down the Cape with her parents and brothers in Harwich. Those days were filled with sunshine, salt air, and the simple pleasures she never forgot, including salt water taffy and the feeling of being surrounded by family. The Cape remained a special place in her heart throughout her life, a place tied to cherished memories and lasting affection.

Annmarie will be remembered for her loving nature, her kindness, and her ability to make others smile. Though she will be deeply missed, the legacy of her care, her laughter, and her devotion will remain with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Wife to Patrick Gorham of Weymouth. Loving mother to Erin Gorham of Weymouth, Kelley Wallace and her husband Patrick of Quincy, and Courtney Gorham and her partner Michael Coleman of Quincy. Beloved sister to Robert Cushing and his wife Susan of Woburn, and John Cushing and his wife Karen of New Hampshire. Also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her infant son Brian Gorham and her brother Richard Cushing.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 10:30 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) , Weymouth. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in Annmarie’s name may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
