April Judith (Pendergraph) Sapienza, age 63 years, of Frisco, Texas, and formerly of Dorchester, Massachusetts, died on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
April was born in Boston on April 5, 1963, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Godwin) Pendergraph. April was raised in Dorchester, and attended local schools.
April worked as an underwriting assistant at Starr Insurance Company. She loved cooking, reading and spending time with her family, and her cherished dog, Stitch. In her later years, April moved to Dallas, Texas, to get to know her grandson.
April was the loving wife of the late Stephen Sapienza. She was a wonderful and caring mother to Brianna Sapienza and Steven J. Sapienza and his wife Annie Sapienza. She also leaves behind her beloved grandson Julian C. Sapienza. April was the dear sister of the late Donna Ruscio of Plymouth, Josephine Feeley of North Carolina, Edward Pendergraph of Chelsea, Robert Pendergraph of North Carolina, Michael Pendergraph of North Carolina, Brian Pendergraph of North Carolina, and Mark Pendergraph of North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 3-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Route 18 opposite South Shore Hospital).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in April's name to the charitable organization of one's choice.
