Barbara Ann (Nilsen) Haugh, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, at 97 years of age.

Born in Boston, Barbara was the daughter of the late Abel and Sophia (Rude) Nilsen. She treasured the values of faith, family, kindness, and community that were passed down through generations.

Barbara will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm heart, and unwavering kindness. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and loved and was blessed with many cherished friendships throughout her life. Barbara always enjoyed playing the piano, singing, and volunteering at Rosie's Place. One of her greatest joys was gathering with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family to sing hymns together, creating treasured memories filled with faith, love, and togetherness.

Barbara also spent the better part of her summers at the family's cottage on College Pond in Myles Standish State Forest, where she made countless memories with generations of extended family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Irving C. Haugh and mother of the late Robert D. Haugh.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Stephen and Julie Haugh; Douglas and Lisa Haugh; Ronald and Deborah Haugh; Lori (Haugh) and Bob Maynard; Wendy (Haugh) and Bob Gustafson; and David and Kristin Haugh, along with 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Barbara's gentle spirit, generosity, devotion to family, and enduring faith touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Braintree Yacht Club, 9 Gordon Road, Braintree, Massachusetts 02184.
