Barbara Ann Lombardi

Barbara Ann Lombardi, a longtime resident of Quincy passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was 85.

She was born in Boston to Emily (Remis) and John Lewandoski and raised in Dorchester. She graduated from the Cardinal Cushing High School and went on to work at State Street Bank. Barbara was a customer service representative with State Street for over 25 years. In 1965, she married Jack Lombardi, and they had 35 wonderful years together before his passing in 1999. They raised two sons, Mark and Stephen.

Barbara was generous with her spare time and volunteered with Toys for Tots, Castle Island Association, Meals on Wheels, The Spirit of State Streeters, Greater Boston Food Bank and Cardinal Cushing Schools. She kept an active social life with her friends. They could often be found bowling, at the movies, out to lunch or taking long day trips all over New England.

She was a force of independence and generosity that touched so many lives, helping anyone she could along her way.

Beloved wife of 35 years to the late John L. “Jack” Lombardi. Devoted mother to Mark Lombardi and his wife Meredith of Hanover and Stephen Lombardi and his wife Michelle of Quincy. Adoring grandmother to Jack, Bella, Leo and Matthew Lombardi. Loving sister to Janice Collyer of NH. Also survived by her sister-in-law Carole Kussmann of Milton.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday May 21, 2025, prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
