Bruce M. Williams

Bruce M. Williams, of Weymouth, passed away on October 21, 2025.

Born on July 5, 1954, in Hingham, MA, Bruce was the son of Paul and Alice Williams. He was a proud graduate of Hingham High School, where he played hockey, set a school record in the discus, and earned All-State honors in football. Bruce went on to work as an electrical lineman for the Braintree Electric Light Department for thirty years.

An excellent athlete growing up, Bruce loved watching sports with his friends and family and was always the biggest supporter of his daughter and stepsons on and off the field. He loved nature and wildlife and was an avid gardener. Bruce had a heart of gold and will always be remembered as a dedicated, dependable, and loving friend, husband, and father.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Patrice K. Williams of Weymouth; his daughter, Emily Williams and her fiancé, Ronny Dunn of Hanson; his stepsons, Chris Costello of Weymouth and Sean Costello and his wife, Danielle, of Duxbury; and two beloved grandchildren, Ella and Henry. He is also survived by his sisters, Gael Williams of Watertown and Sally Howes of Sandwich, along with beloved extended family in Texas.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 10/25/2025 from 11 AM-2 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square) followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM in the funeral home.
