Carlton F. Leavitt Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on November 5, 2024 at the age of 67. Born on October 7, 1957, Carlton was a free spirit with a personality that drew people in.

Carlton dedicated himself to his career as an asphalt paver, where he showcased his unwavering work ethic and commitment to his craft. He took pride in providing for his family and contributing to the countless projects he was involved in.

 Carlton’s passion for the open road was manifested in his cherished Harley Davidson motorcycle, which stood as a symbol of his adventurous spirit. While cruising down winding paths, he lived for the thrill of the ride, the wind in his hair, and the joy it brought to him and those who accompanied him.He had a deep passion for the outdoors, which was reflected in his beloved hobbies, spending countless hours fishing, often sharing those special moments with his grandchildren.

 Carlton is survived by his mother Anita L. Nagel  and his step dad Ray Naglel, of Bradford, PA, his brother Wayne Leavitt of Weymouth and his sisters, Ann Marie Marrison of Conneaut, Ohio, and Denise McCarty of Whitman, MA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

 Carlton is preceded in death by his wife, Janice L. Leavitt; his son, Jason R. Leavitt; and his father, Carlton F. Leavitt Sr. Though he has departed from this world, Carlton’s legacy of kindness, adventurous spirit, and love for his family will continue to inspire all who knew him. He is remembered as a man who embraced life and encouraged those around him to do the same.

Carlton is now reunited with with his wife and son where they will rest in eternal peace together at Union Cemetery ( 29 South Main St, Carver Ma).
