Carmelo "Chuck" J. Paratore, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a brief illness. He was 92 years old.

Chuck was born on March 13, 1934, in Woburn, Massachusetts, to the late Domenic and Carmela Paratore, who emigrated from Sicily. He was raised in Roslindale before eventually making Weymouth his lifelong home, where he built not only a house but a lifetime of memories with his family.

As a young man, Chuck loved playing baseball and remained an avid sports fan throughout his life. At home, he was happiest working around the house, tending to his yard, tackling projects, or preparing meals for those he loved. An exceptional cook, he took great pride in sharing his recipes and love of cooking.

Chuck also loved to travel. He and his beloved wife, Carol, cherished many trips to Italy to reconnect with their heritage and looked forward every summer to vacations in Maine, where they enjoyed searching for antiques and spending quiet time together.

Above all else, Chuck's greatest love was his family, especially Carol, the love of his life. Their love story began many years ago at the Dalton Club, where Chuck quite literally "swept her off her feet." From that evening on, they were inseparable. Their marriage was a beautiful example of unwavering devotion, friendship, and love, inspiring everyone who knew them.

Chuck was a true gentleman in every sense of the word kind, humble, hardworking, and generous. He treated everyone with respect, always offered a helping hand, and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His quiet strength, warm smile, and steadfast love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Chuck is survived by his devoted wife, Carol, his daughters Theresa and Michelle, his sons Carmelo and Anthony and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many dear friends who will cherish his memory.
