In the early hours of April 7, 2026, Charles F. Belyea passed away peacefully at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham, Massachusetts. He was born on October 4, 1944, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to the late Mabel (Dan) and Frederick Belyea. He grew up in Quincy Point, graduating from Quincy High School in 1962. As a teenager, he worked in Quincy at Belyea’s Service Station, his father’s business, where he developed a passion for automobiles. He went on to pursue a career as a mechanic and established his own company, Belyea’s Towing, in 1981. He eventually sold his company and transitioned to the private sector, working in construction and landscaping. After a long career, he retired in 2011.

In his earlier years, he delighted in vacationing to Aruba and the Bahamas with his wife Lisa, where they sunbathed on the beach and attended shows. Together they enjoyed frequent trips to casinos and nights out drinking and dancing. After settling down in Pembroke, Massachusetts, Charles and Lisa started a family. He lived a quiet life with his wife and twin daughters, Karli and Katelyn. On sunny days, he could be found meticulously tending the greenery around his home. A lover of the outdoors, he played tennis with his children and took long walks along local trails. On Sundays, he liked to watch football and NASCAR.

Charles is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa (Wood) Belyea of Pembroke; his daughters, Karli and Katelyn Belyea of Pembroke; his sister, Barbara (Belyea) Morris, and his brother-in-law, Ricky Morris of Quincy; his brother, Walter Belyea of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

Charles’s family will be holding a private service to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles’s honor may be made to the Pat Roche Hospice Home at 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
