Charles E. Stockbridge

Stockbridge, Charles E.  of Quincy formerly of Cohasset,  died January 25, 2014.  Beloved husband of Arlene (O’Neill) Stockbridge of Quincy.  Loving father of Charles R. Stockbridge of and his wife Jennifer of Winthrop and Paul C. Stockbridge of Quincy.  Brother of the late Geneva, Alice and Howard.  Grandfather of Charles, Diana and Ryan Stockbridge. 

Charles was a Police Officer for the town of Cohasset for 31 years before retiring as Acting Chief in 1983.  After retirement he worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for 15 years as Ambassador.  Charles enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, hunting, reading and baseball.  He will be remembered by his family as a man who enjoyed life and loved his family. Charles was a WWII Navy Veteran. 

At the request of the Stockbridge family all services are private.
