Charles S. Kidney

Charles S. Kidney,  Ret. QPD of Quincy, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2026. Husband of the late Irene (Daly) Kidney. Father of Linda Hartshorn of Quincy, Joseph Kidney of NH, Charles Kidney of Rockland and Steven Kidney of Brockton, Charles was the grandfather of 2 granddaughters Ashley and Madelyn and 2 deceased grandsons Keith and Jason.

 Charles was a dedicated Quincy Police officer for many years. As a licensed pilot, he enjoyed flying in his free time. Charles will be missed by all those who were fortunate to have known him.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 10 AM-12PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Followed by a funeral service Thursday at 12 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
