Christine B. Gomes, age 56, of Boston, MA passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2026.

She was born in Boston, on July 4, 1969, to Cristiano Gomes and Fortunata Burgo. Christine attended Cathedral High School. After graduating, she went to work for Boston Medical Center. Christine found great success in her career becoming the manager of pre surgical services. She proudly worked for BMC for 20 years.

In her spare time, Christine loved to travel whenever she had the opportunity. She enjoyed dining out and wearing her favorite perfumes. Christine cared deeply for her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She was known for her sense of humor, strength, and resilience. Above all, she was a caring and extraordinarily generous woman whose kindness touched the lives of many.

Christine is survived by her father, Cristiano Gomes. She was the beloved mother of Gregory Gomes of Boston, Alexia Rojas of Boston, Jessica Rojas of Boston, and Melodie Brown of Boston. She was the caring sister of Christian Gomes of Pawtucket, RI. As well as the adoring grandmother to Xavyer Gomes, Giana Gomes, Cameron Robinson, Myla Saint-Vil, Madison Blemur, and Maverick Blemur.

Christine is predeceased by her mother, Fortunata Burgo, and her sister, Susanna Gomes.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 5 PM - 8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 40 Sea Street, NORTH WEYMOUTH. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
