It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christine M. Trodella, age 58, after a brief but brave battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 9, 2024.
Christine was born on July 20, 1966, to Richard Jarvis and Carol Amico. She is survived by her son, Nicolas Trodella and his partner, Tyler Blanchette, of Boston, MA; her daughter, Gabrielle Trodella, of Milford, MA; her brother, Brian Jarvis, and his wife, Anne, along with their children, her cherished nieces Abigail and Emma Jarvis, of Brookline, MA; her partner, Dean Gates, of Haverhill, MA; her father, Richard Jarvis, of Peabody, MA and her beloved dog, Chance. She is predeceased by her mother, Carol Amico, of Quincy, MA.
Christine’s greatest pride and joy were her two children, Nicolas and Gabrielle. She devoted herself to raising them, always cheering them on and supporting them in every way possible. Despite the many challenges life threw her way, Christine’s unwavering love for her family and friends was evident in all that she did. Even through illness, she continued to put others first, demonstrating a strength and resilience that inspired everyone around her.
Christine had a passion for life’s simple pleasures, from her cherished morning coffee chats with friends to preparing her favorite dish, a frittata, in the kitchen. She was known for her radiant smile and her infectious laugh, qualities that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
While she will be deeply missed, Christine’s memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
A visitation will be held at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA, on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National MS Society in her honor.
