Clementina G. DeAngelis Brill, 93, of Houghs Neck, Quincy, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2026.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Clementina spent her younger years in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She was a longtime resident of Houghs Neck, where she and her family spent their summers running their beloved family carousel, a cherished staple of the Houghs Neck community. It was there that she met and later married the love of her life, Robert, with whom she shared 73 wonderful years of marriage.

Clementina had a wonderful ability to make everyone feel welcome, cared for, and loved. She brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Clementina had a long and varied working life. She was the head school lunch matron at Atherton Hough School for many years. She was also a top seller for Dutchmaid clothing, hosting home parties and forming many friendships along the way. Later, she worked at Heart Care Medical, which eventually became Granite Medical, where she retired as a Credentialer.

Clementina was a former member of the Catholic Daughters and Ladies Sodality. She was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and enjoyed many years in a bowling league. She loved to cook and garden, and her kitchen and home were often gathering places where family and friends came together, shared stories, enjoyed wonderful meals, and made lasting memories.

Clementina and her husband, Robert, shared many amazing years together. During their retirement, they spent 25 winters in Las Vegas, where they made lifelong friends and created countless cherished memories.

Clementina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Brill; their children, Donna Rowan and her husband, Michael, of Quincy; Richard Brill of Quincy; and Catherine Doyle and her husband, James, of Braintree; and her daughter-in-law, Theresa Brill of Quincy, widow of the late Joseph Brill.

She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchild: Victoria Brill of Albany, New York; Amanda Rowan of Quincy and her daughter, Aivaleigh, of Quincy; Sara Al-Janabi of Quincy; and Adam Al-Janabi of Braintree.

Clementina is also survived by her sister, Antoinette (Ann) DeCoste of Osprey, Florida, and her brother, Joseph DeAngelis of Quincy, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her four sons, Christopher Brill, John Brill, Robert Brill, and Joseph Brill; her sister, Genevieve (Jenny) Smith of Westwood; and her brothers, Gerald (Gerry) DeAngelis of Quincy, John DeAngelis of East Bridgewater, and Dominic (Sonny) DeAngelis of Middleboro.

Family meant everything to Clementina. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, enormous heart, generosity, and strong sense of community. She had a gift for making others feel special and never hesitated to share her time, her food, her laughter, or her love. The many people whose lives she touched will carry her memory with them always.

Clementina leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and togetherness. Her warmth, generosity, and unmistakable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her wake on Monday, October 12, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Keohane Funeral Home in Quincy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Quincy, followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the Houghs Neck Community Council in Clementina’s memory.

May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded forever by the love she so freely gave to others.
