Listen to Obituary

Connie “CC” Dabek passed away, leaving behind a love so deep it will live on in every life she touched. She was the soul of her family, the one who held everything together through love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to the people she cherished. Her presence was something you felt instantly, and her absence will be felt forever. To her family, she was not just special, she was everything.

She leaves behind her three daughters, who were her greatest pride and joy. With them, there was laughter, personality, and a closeness that was unmatched. Together, they were the “Nixie Chicks”—a name that held years of memories, inside jokes, and a piece of her they will carry with them always.

She was a devoted and proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren were her heart. She found so much joy in spoiling them with gifts, surprises, and little moments that made them feel deeply loved and special.

Connie shared a loving life with her husband, Brian Dabek. They loved each other in their own way, with a bond only they truly understood. He called her “babe,” a simple word that meant everything between them. Together, they dreamed of one day retiring down south and building a life they could enjoy side by side.

Connie was full of life in her own beautiful way. She loved shelling at Fort Myers Beach, spending hours searching for little treasures and soaking in the colors of the sunrise and sunset. Those quiet, simple moments brought her happiness, and now, they’ve become some of the most meaningful memories she leaves behind.

More than anything, Connie will be remembered for the way she loved completely and without limits. No matter how many times you told her “I love you,” she always said it back the same way: “Love you more.” Those weren’t just words. They were her.

There will never be another CC. She was deeply loved, and she will be missed more than words could ever say.

Devoted wife of Brian Dabek. Beloved daughter of Constance “Lady” Flipp and the late Carl L. “Papa” Flipp. Loving mother to Jessilynn Crimmins and her husband Billy of Marshfield; Amanda Gendron and her husband Jon of Whitman; and Bryanna Shaw and her husband Torey of Abington. Daughter-in-law of William Dabek and his late wife Carol. Sister-in-law of Nicole and Michael Wolf, and Carl Dabek and his late wife Mariann. Cherished grandmother to Lexi, the late Jack, Ryleigh, Sanibel, Carlie, Luke, Jayson, Everly, Vienna, Trigger, and Camryn, and proud great-grandmother to her first great-grandchild, Acklin. Loving sister of the late David Flipp; Bruce Flipp and his late wife Lorraine; the late Cynthia Flipp; Colleen Casey and her husband Steve; Colin Michael Flipp and his wife Maura; Brian Flipp and his wife Lainie; Cathy Buccheri and her husband Peter; and Allison Wooten and Bill Tallman. Adored aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a dear friend to all who knew and loved her.
