Constance Marie "Connie" (Davidson) Mangone, of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Weymouth and Quincy, Massachusetts, died peacefully in her daughter’s home on Sunday, February 1, 2026. She was 87.

Connie was born in Quincy on February 4, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Ronald and Eileen (Hall) Davidson. She was raised in Quincy, and attended Woodward School for Girls. She had many fond memories of her time at Woodward.

Connie attended the Household Nursing Association (HNA) Training School for Attendant Nurses in Boston. During her training at Mass General she met a surgery technician named George. They fell in love, married and settled in Weymouth. There they raised their family with love and devotion. Connie became the heart of the neighborhood. “Just call Connie,” was what the neighbors would say because she brought comfort, wisdom and good food. Everyone loved Connie.

Connie took beautiful care of her family and friends. She was a natural caretaker, someone people gravitated toward without effort. Her presence was reassuring, her advice thoughtful, and her support unwavering. Throughout her life, she was always there for others, quietly, faithfully, and without complaint.

Connie was a proud and dedicated Nurse, a profession that reflected who she was at her core. Caring for others was not just her work, it was her calling. She carried that same compassion into every part of her life, never seeking recognition, only wanting to help.

She loved her friends dearly and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending winters in Florida. Connie’s home was always the center of holidays and family gatherings. She loved to host and serve wonderful home cooked meals. Many beautiful memories were made during these times for many people.

Known for her wonderful disposition, Connie faced life with grace and rarely complained. Her generosity, steadiness, and big heart left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. She was a constant, dependable, loving, and strong person. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.

Connie was the beloved wife of the late George B. Mangone, who died in 2019. She is survived by Eileen Wali and her husband Bashar of Portland, Oregon, Annette Wright of Colorado, and Julie Kuhlmann of Florida. She was preceded in death by her sons: Steven, William, and R. David Mangone. Connie was the loving grandmother of ten and the loving great grandmother of three.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1-3 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Route 18 opposite of South Shore Hospital).
