Constance E. Rossini (Bibby), 91, of West Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. Connie was born in Hingham, May 15, 1934, to George and Florence Bibby. Connie was a dedicated Registered Nurse, known for her personal attention and care of her patients. After becoming a member of the Archbishop Williams High School inaugural graduation class, Connie enlisted in the United States Army – Women’s Army Corps (WAC). She was stationed in Germany, and traveled throughout Europe, exploring new places when she had free time. This led to her eventually learning to ski at Innsbruck, Austria. As an Army Nurse, Connie, attained the rank of Specialist 3, during her tour of duty. After the Army, Connie attended Quincy City Hospital School for Nursing, obtaining her RN. Connie went on to spend most of her career there, rotating from the ER to various care areas. She ended her career while caring for Alzheimer’s patients at the Milton Healthcare facility. Connie was an avid traveler, whose curiosity for the world was unmatched. It was at Lake Bomoseen, Vermont however, that captivated her heart. She loved it there, with its scenic mountains, and the best apple picking in New England. An enthusiastic and creative baker, she and her husband Louis would hand craft delicious apple pies, apple turnovers and cinnamon apple treats. And when Connie wasn’t baking her kids’ cookies, she was knitting hats, mittens, scarves and sweaters. Connie and her late husband Lou, shared a passion for gardening, growing vegetables, and also growing a wide variety of perennial fragrant flowers, with lilacs, peonies and roses being her favorites. She was a devoted mother of four, who always meticulously planned the annual family vacations to Vermont and Upstate New York. She made it look easy, attending to all the details every year, that included days of swimming and waterskiing at the lake, homemade dinners, family time with Uncle Joe and nightly drives in the countryside, that always started with an ice cream from the Snack Bar.
Connie was preceded in death by her five sisters and two brothers, and her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Louis. She is survived by her children, David L. Rossini and his wife Erika of Halifax, Michael J. Rossini and his late wife Cheryl of Randolph, Edward W. Rossini and his wife Elisete of Randolph and Susanne M. Rossini of Quincy. As well as her grandchildren, Zachery, Trevor, Angela, Christina, Teddy, Samuel and Benjamin.
A private prayer service and burial will be held on Thursday April 2, 2026, from Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Quincy Ma 02170.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ellie Fund, 200 Reservoir Street, Suite 300 Needham, MA 02494, https://www.elliefund.org/.
